These days, it is mandatory to have a copy of your CV (“Lebenslauf,” also called “résumé” in American English) in English, even if you don’t plan on leaving Austria in the near future. Once yours is complete, you will be so successful, your life will look like this:
People will be throwing money at you!
However, putting it through GoogleTranslate is not enough, as there are several differences in structure and style to keep in mind. (See my previous post on DOs and DON’Ts.)
That’s why I am organizing a CV-writing workshop to help you create your own English-language CV, which you can then take home with you.
Where: Büro- und Datenverarbeitungsschule BENKO, Freiheitsplatz 1, 8010 Graz
When: Tuesday, July 16th, 17:00 – 20:00
Price: 35 EUR per person
Bring with you an electronic form of your current CV (in whatever language it is) on a USB stick and that will save you a lot of time!

More events for learning English can be found under Active English. I hope to host these workshops throughout the year, so if you’d like to know when the next one will take place, please leave your email here:
